Heading into winter calls for a new menu here at Sawyers Arms Tavern Geelong!

While we haven’t taken off our classics and perennial favourites, the new menu features dishes that make the most of the season’s produce.

SMALL DISHES

Mustard & cheese bread

Pacific oysters with vinaigrette

Kilpatrick oysters

Marinated manzanillo olives in citrus zest with chilli and herbs

Mushroom & pea risotto sticks with truffle aioli

Baked scallops with cauliflower puree and chopped chives

Garlic prawns in a buttery chilli garlic sauce & warmed sourdough

Saganaki with a rhubarb compote

Crumbed lambs brains with smashed peas, rosti & aioli

Salt & pepper calamari with a rocket, fennel & orange shallot salad served with aioli & lemon wedge

LARGE DISHES

Prawn linguine in a tomato sugo with chilli, parsley & fresh lemon

Lamb ragu with pappardelle pasta and salsa verde

Beef cheek in red wine, pumpkin puree, dutch carrots, burnt butter & fennel salad

Pan seared barramundi fillet served with braised leek, kipfler potatoes & chives

Pumpkin & chickpea curry served with basmati rice & crispy kale

Fresh King George fried whiting, chips, house salad, lemon & homemade tartare sauce

Crumbed lamb cutlets served with mash and beans and side of jus

Roasted duck leg with a mixed lentil ragu cooked in orange jus

Sawyers hand crumbed classic chicken parmigiana w/ sugo, smoked ham, & cheddar cheese, chips and salad
